From A12 Colchester, towards London. Take the Marks Tey (A120) turn off, take the third exit at roundabout signposted Braintree/Stansted (A120). At next roundabout follow the signs to Braintree/Stansted (A120) follow this road for around two and a half miles passing a Garden Centre (Poplar Nurseries) on your left, take the next turning on your left, Elm Lane. Continue along Elm Lane for approx 0.5 miles and then turn right into Elm Farm at the two 'Public Footpath' signs.

From A12 London, towards Colchester. Take the Marks Tey (A120) turn off, take the first exit at roundabout signposted Braintree/Stansted (A120). Follow this road for around two and half miles passing a Garden Centre (Poplar Nurseries) on your left, take the next turning on your left, Elm Lane. Continue along Elm Lane for approx 0.5 miles and then turn right into Elm Farm at the two 'Public Footpath' signs.

From A120 Braintree, towards Colchester. From A120, follow signs to Colchester, as leave the Coggeshall by-pass look for a turning on your right Elm Lane after Salmon Lane. If you reach the Marks Tey village sign you have passed the turning. After turning into Elm Lane continue for approx 0.5 miles and then turn right into Elm Farm at the two 'Public Footpath' signs.
